Glitz and Glam

I have been so busy lately with wedding planning, visiting with friends and recovering from being sick that I haven't had much time for blogging. I can't believe I've only posted twice this month!

My wedding dress came in, so Saturday my mom, dad and I went to try it on. We ended up being out for four hours just shopping, trying on jewellry, tiaras and veils and getting my dress fitted. Such a fun day. I was losing a little steam with the wedding planning, but Saturday got me motivated again and I ended up ordering these shoes from Aldo on Monday. Free shipping throughout the holidays!! I was pretty excited. I couldn't decide which shoe would look better with my dress and wedding colours, so I decided to just buy both and decide later. With both shoes on sale it's a win-win situation!

  1. Oh, both are gorgeous! Don't you just love it when you can afford to buy both? I think either would look amazing with your wedding dress. :)

  6. Ohh both are gorgeous! I'd wear either of those again. My friend bought two for her wedding last summer and wound up forgetting her number one pick at her house about 2 hours away...thank god for a back up!!

  8. I just got married in the fall- dress, shoe and jewelry shopping was my favourite part of the planning by far :) How soon is your wedding? What are your colours? I instinctively prefer the first pair of shoes, but it really depends what your wedding day theme is... or you could just be like me and not match your wedding colours at all ;)

Can't wait to see photos of your big day!

  9. Thanks for all the comments everyone :)

Cee - I'm getting married Feb. 25th in Mexico. Sooo excited. Colours are purple, green, grey/silver. We're getting married on the beach so I'm going barefoot for the ceremony, but wanted some kind of cute shoe for afterwards. The theme I guess is beachy. lol.

Got the shoes in today and the first pair is a little more of a brown colour than I thought. Don't know how good that would look with grey/silver so probably going to go with the silver shoe, but I'm definitely keeping both! lol.
