Sunny Day

I have been sick the last few days and so my outfits haven't been worth taking photos of, so I decided  to post some photos from the summer. Mostly I've been lounging around in my yoga pants and baggy sweaters. I hate being sick, especially close to the holidays. There is way too much to get done during this time of year. There isn't time to be sick. I have definitely fallen behind on the Christmas shopping and decorating. I do not feel prepared for the holidays. I can't believe Christmas and New Years are right around the corner! 

Last year JP and I were in sunny Hawaii for Christmas and New Years. We actually spend Christmas Eve laying on the beach. It was beautiful. We were in Hawaii over the holidays because some close friends of ours were getting married on New Years Eve, and we were part of the wedding party. It was really special because they live in Australia and we hadn't seen them in quite a while. This year they will be spending New Years with us in Canada! I am so excited to see them! It's been a whole year. The beach and sun was a nice change for Christmas/New Years, but snow, skating and hot chocolate are nice too.

    I almost had a heart attack when I saw these photos. "It CANT look like this in Calgary right now!!!" haha I love the picture of your belt. Id frame that! I really like it. Hope you feel well soon so you can have tons of fun over the holidays!!

    Haha, I saw the pictures before reading the text and was like "bare legs?! isn't this girl canadian?!" but then I read what you wrote! that last photo is really pretty!

    Really pretty pictures, makes me long for summer! Once the holidays are over I'm pretty much over the cold. I'm so jealous you got to go to Hawaii, lucky girl! Hope you're feeling better too!!

    This is a gorgeous look, that belt is amazzzing!! And so is the skirt. This makes me yearn for warmer weather though. I wish I was one of those people that could get away during the winter, but the only trip I might take is to Victoria to see my brother in Febuary.

    Oh god, I would give ANYTHING right now to be in Hawaii! Christmas at the beach would be the most perfect thing...
