OK, so I know that I said I would be more present on the blog, but I've been ridiculously busy again. It has been a crazy whirlwind the last few weeks. There has been a wedding shower, a bachelorette party, Eating Disorder Awareness Week events, and a fashion mixer. Phew. Not to mention last minute workouts, dress fittings, and a zillion other appointments. Still on my list if "to do's" is, buy more luggage, a hair appointment, nail appointment, pedicure, and pick up my wedding day make-up. I was lucky enough that my bridesmaids decided to surprise me by taking me out for a make-up trial at MAC, and then afterwards bought me the eye shadows and a new brush. Now I need to make a decision on foundation.
I've been eyeing up these two foundations for quite some time now. At first I was dead set on getting Estee Lauder Double Wear, but then I discovered Chanel Mat Lumiere. I decided to try out a tester of each. Right now I'm leaning towards the Chanel, but I've read so many positive reviews of brides who wore Double Wear for their wedding day. Has anyone else tried either of these two foundations? I would love to hear your feedback!
Hopefully I will get to some posts on the shower, bachelorette and mixer soon! Thanks for all your continuous support.
I have tried the Estee Lauder foundation and I loved the coverage but it was a little drying on my skin. Haven't tried Chanel yet.

Hi Kayla! Thanks for the tip. :)
ReplyDeletei hear you about the busies love. this has been my chance tonight to catch up on my fave bloggy reads and i'm elated to have the time finally!
ReplyDeletei haven't tried either of those but would highly recommend make-up forever's HD Invisible Cover Foundation. it's the bomb seriously. there's also this spray stuff i got at sephora which is stellar called "all nighter", it's a makeup setting spray and a makeup artist friend told me about it. really works and keeps whatever you're wearing rock solid for hours and hours. good lucks! ♥
I'm kind of liking the Double Wear stuff right now...might have to go with that over my MAC samples..
