Tuesday JP and I went to the Primus concert. I am starting to feel old now when I go to concerts. When I was younger I would rush to the the front of the mosh pit, jumping and dancing like crazy, trying to get as close to the band as I could. Lately I've been sitting down for the opening bands, then standing at the back, quietly watching the headlining band, maybe swaying a little from side to side. I guess that's what happens when you get older. The ways you enjoy and appreciate things start to change. I like how standing at the back allows you to really watch what the band is doing. And I love watching the die hard fans at concerts dancing and singing at the top of their lungs.
You can't really see my outfit in the photo of me, but I decided to dress really simple. I wore my jeggings, a white t-shirt, moccasin boots, black faux leather jacket, and my leopard print scarf.
LOL, I totally know what you mean. I sit in my seat now at concerts and just enjoy. Standing for 3 hours straight is just not something I have the stamina to do anymore...unless it has something to do with a fabulous sale. ;o)
ReplyDeleteHaha, I feel the same way! Always used to want to be up front, now I much prefer the back! I also don't want to be the grump who gets mad at kids for smashing into me, because they should be allowed to have fun, so I think it's best I stick to the back! Ah, gettin' old...! Also just realized I wasn't following you - I think I'm your first bloglovin' follower! Hoorah!
ReplyDeleteGlad to know others feel the same! :)
