Last Wednesday Calgary kicked off the holiday season with
Twas The Night, a private, late night shopping event celebrating the Core Shopping Centre's grand opening as well as a fundraiser for The United Way and The National Music Centre Project. Over 7000 people attended and approximately $40000 was raised for these two non-profit organizations!! Some of the highlights from the night were a red carpet entrance hosted by Canada's top blogger and CTV's

Lainey Lui, performances from Juno award winner Chantal Kreviazuk and the Calgary girls choir, Papyrus paper fashion show, an indoor fireworks display, and an appearance from the Mayor. Here are some photos I snapped from the night.
