Saturday evening I went to see the band
Austra (along with
Tasseomancy and
Young Galaxy) with a few friends at Hifi Club. It was really an amazing show. The energy from the bands just moves through the crowd and it seemed that everyone was dancing and having a great time. Probably my favourite thing was that the bands were at the merchandise table selling their own CD's and t-shirts so it gave fans a chance to meet the band members in person. I also absolutely loved that the lead vocals in all bands were women! The highlight of my night was meeting Katie of Austra and grabbing a few shots of her outfit. Thanks Katie!
