Online retailer Boohoo recently sent me a DIY kit and a t-shirt to put together a festival inspired look to kick of their festival collection. The DIY kit included fabric paint, jewels, and studs. I decided to use the studs and placed them along the seam of the sleeves. I like that it adds just a little bit of an edge to the t-shirt. Since it was a DIY look I paired the t-shirt with an old jean jacket that I had my friend Sheri of Notsoseemless alter into a vest a couple months back. I'm definitely looking forward to a few summer festivals coming up in Calgary this summer. I'm going to check out Thievery Corporation at Folk Fest this year and I'm hoping to go to X-Fest again.

ReplyDeletei've never attempted a studded diy before; your results are awesome. it's subtle but just adds the right amount of edge to a basic white tee. Boohoo's concept sounds really cool!
