Three Favourites

There are so many bloggers that I admire, but lately these three, Kim, Kate and Blair, have really caught my eye. I love their feminine style, and they've all mastered the art of layering, pattern mixing and accessorizing. I'm finding one of the hardest thing about being unemployed and being a blogger is seeing all these other amazing bloggers with great style, being totally inspired to try new things, but having no funds for shopping! I'm going through major shopping withdrawal right now. All I can think about is shoes blazers, dresses, watches and purses!

Glenmore Reservoir

I'm so jealous of everyone living somewhere where fall is just beginning! Here in Alberta We hit the peak of fall colours in late September and now in October the majority of leaves have fallen off the trees. We are already getting threats of snow for next week! This is why summer is my ultimate favourite season. It's the only season that doesn't include snow. The one thing I do love about fall is bringing back all my scarves! Scarves are definitely my favourite accessory.

It's Elementary

This morning I met up with my friend Mackenzie for coffee. We ended up heading to the reservoir, which turned into relaxing on the docks and a mini photo adventure. Mackenzie is heading to Korea soon to teach English and she will be starting her own blog to document her trip! I will miss her a ton while she is gone (she's leaving for a year!) but I know she is going to have the time of her life and am so excited for her! 

So far the last couple days have been all about visiting with good friends. Sunday was a fall clothes SWAP, and I met up with some friends to check it out. I cleared out a lot of items out of my closet, and picked up a flannel button up and some wool shorts. Afterwards I headed over to my cousins place for a much needed catch up. 

My unemployment stint is lasting a little longer than I would have liked, but I'm making the most of it and spending as much time as I can with friends and family.  It's been really nice to be able to pick up my little sister from school and catch up on some Family Channel shows with her. Right now we are loving Jessie and A.N.T. Farm.
