Backyard Vines

Last week so many exciting things happened! My cousin had twins (boy and girl) and one of my best friends had a baby girl! Another one of my best friends got into grad school and is moving to the States next week. A few of us decided to celebrated over the weekend by taking a day trip to Elbow Falls to spend some quality time together. Congrats to All. <3

I've developed a little obsession with silk over the last year. Silk blouses, cardigans, skirts and shorts are  slowly taking over my closet. These black silk shorts are just so perfect for hot summer days. I've been wearing them non-stop along with a blue pair from Joe Fresh.

Golden Slippers

Summer is my favourite time of year. I could be outside all day everyday. Last week was so nice and relaxing. I was cat sitting and spending every morning with a coffee in the backyard basking in the sun with the kitty.

My white sun hat got crushed in my luggage on the way back from Mexico back in February, and I've been looking for a new one  to replace it ever since. I finally found this one and love it!

Last night JP and I headed to Stampede Park to check out the second last day of this years fair. We met up with some friends, wandered the midway, played a few games, checked out some vendors and art displays, and sampled some of the crazy food. This year we tested out the donut burger, deep fried Oreos and Snickers, and of course mini donuts and corn dogs.
