Crazy for Colour

I'm in love with all the coloured jeans that are coming out. I'm finding myself wanting a pair in every colour! Right now I'm testing out red, and so far I can't get enough. I think I've wore these jeans three times already this week. Looks like I might need to satisfy my cravings for colour and pick up another pair in a different hue!

Last night I headed over to my friend Hayley's house for a girls night. It ended up being a mini Lethbridge reunion. We soaked our feet in sea salts and sipped on chai tea. It was a good night to just relax and catch up with some university friends. Hayley graciously snapped these photos of my girls night in outfit when I arrived. Thanks Hayley!!

Hayley's adorable kitty accompanied us on our little photo shoot. What a cutie.

The Halls

As mentioned in my last post, KD and I got to previewed the exhibition, Traditions Illuminated: Celebrating the Halls at the Art Gallery of Calgary. The art work featured in this exhibition were by Jonh, Joyce, Janine and Jarvis Hall. It was really interesting to see an entire family dedicated to creating art. John, the father, painted still lifes with incredible detail, Joyce the mother, painted beautiful landscapes, while the daughter Janine favoured portraits. The son, Jarvis, a master gilder, build all the magnificent frames for his families artwork. Jarvis' work was by far my favourite. The frames were made with such attention to detail, and the fact that Jarvis is self taught and is the only master gilder in Western Canada was extremely impressive to me.

Traditions Illuminated

I'm a bit behind on posting. On Wednesday April 27th, KD and I attended a pre-opening at the Art Gallery of Calgary. The exhibition that we had the privilege of pre-viewing was called Traditions Illuminated: Celebrating the Halls.  KD and I decided to take a few outfit photos after the art showing downtown. I met KD on Stephen Avenue after work, so this is what I wore to work that day.
I also have some photos from the actual exhibit, but I'll share those in another post.
Hope everyone had a great weekend and a lovely mothers day!
