Thrifting and Leopard Print

This is an outfit I wore to work a couple weeks ago. I love these dress pants so much. I found them at a thrift store for $3 and they were already hemmed to the perfect length for me!! I found them two summer ago when a co-worker and I stopped by a work networking event. When we arrived we found out that we were supposed to have dressed sporty because there was beach volleyball and a bunch of other outdoor activities planned.
There were a few other people at the event who were dressed up in office attire, so we quickly decided to all hop in a car and drive down the street to a nearby thrift store to look for shorts and t-shrits. When we arrived at the store I immediately saw these pants and completely forgot that I was searching for shorts! I ended up buying the pants and a belt and left the store with nothing sporty. I sat on the sidelines watching the games. lol. It was alright with me because I have a weird thing with games. I actually don't like games at all. I know, I'm crazy, but I'd much rather spend my time socializing.

Sunset & Snow

JP has gone to the hockey game tonight and I'm at home, making tea, eating chocolate, watching Pretty Little Liars, and blogging. All my favourites things.

The weather has been so gorgeous the last couple of days, it fees like spring is right around the corner! These photos were taken right when JP and I got back from Mexico. We were greeted with -25 Celsius temperatures. A nasty shock when you are just getting used to +25 and up. Hopefully the weather will stay this way. I'm looking forward to breaking out all of my spring/summer clothes.
Over the weekend myself and fellow Calgary bloggers, Danielle, Amy, KD, and Natalia met up for drinks downtown then attended PARKshow, an art exhibit and fashion show featuring new up and coming local talents. I think my favourite thing about starting this blog is that I have had the chance to meet some really amazing people that I might not have met otherwise.

Here are a few more photos from Mexico.

This is what i wore to dinner on the night before our wedding. My friend Sheri custom made this dress for me. I am absolutely in love with it. Unfortunately, somehow I lost weight on vacation (seriously, I have no idea how!) and the dress ended up being a little lose. I had only gotten it fitted a week before we left and it had fit like a glove then!

A & J - Wedding in Los Cabos

posted on: Wednesday, March 9, 2011

I still can't believe that only a couple of weeks ago JP and I were in Los Cabos getting married. The ceremony was everything I could have asked for. The minister was absolutely amazing. He kept it light and fun, but also threw in a lot of sentimental pieces. At one point he stopped the ceremony and told JP and I to go and thank the people who made this day happen. We each ran over and hugged our parents. I can't wait to see a video of it because honestly, I was pretty overwhelmed with joy and trying so hard not to cry that most of the day is a blur to me. I seriously felt like I was floating along, and my skin was buzzing. Best Day Of My Life. <3

Here are some photos of us getting ready and of the ceremony.
