Saturday in Polaroids

Saturday has been a lazy and relaxing day. JP and I slept in then went for breakfast. Afterwards we played some video games, then drove around town exploring electronic stores. We each bought an external hard drive to backup our all of our photos, music, movies etc. Later JP went to check on a neighbour's house that he will be doing some renovations in and I tagged alone. After the renovation check up we predictably went to eat at Mucho Burrito. Tacos for me, burrito for JP.

I  forgot to mention that I found my wedding dress!! I'm so excited. I found it a few weeks ago when I went dress shopping with Opheliac after work. It's not the Enzoani lace dress that I was fantasizing about. I tried on some other dresses in different styles and decided that mermaid wasn't for me. The dress I chose is completely different from my original vision of what I wanted, but I am really happy with my choice. It's by Demetrios.

Sorry there are no outfit photos. I attempted to take some yesterday with my tripod and failed miserably. I am no good with the self-timer. Opheliac and I may find some time tomorrow though before we catch the Black Eyed Peas concert!

Sparklz and I dashed to TD Square mall on our lunch break at work yesterday. We actually went two days in a row. We were really excited to look at the new arrivals in Aritzia, but both of us are on a budget right now because of our upcoming weddings so we didn't end up buying anything the first day. The leopard sweater that I wanted was already out of my size, and I didn't see the Wilfred jacket, but I ended up buying a jacket that was pretty similar yesterday. I am having mixed feelings about the wool jacket. I am soooo excited to wear it, but I don't want the weather to change just yet. Last year the first snow fall was in October!!

Autumn Leopards & Leather

I always get sad when the fall/winter fashion starts filling the stores. Summers here always feel too short, and it just doesn't feel like I've had much of a taste of summer this year. I  still have so many summer clothes that I haven't had a chance to wear because the weather has been so random.

Although I would love the summer to drag on and on, I can't help but fall in love with fall fashion.

Here are some of the items I am dreaming of from the Wilfred fall/winter collection at Aritzia

Perfume & Nail Polish

As I've mentioned in the last couple posts, the majority of my stuff is packed up and I am struggling to accessorize my outfits. All of my perfume is packed somewhere in my parents basement so today I tried out my mom's Badgley Mischka perfume. The scent to me is floral, fruity, and feminine. I liked it, but my favourite perfumes have more of an exotic scent. My little sister has the MAC Hello Kitty nail polish so I borrowed that as well! The ring also belongs to my mom.

Here are the rest of the pictures from Sunday shopping with Opheliac.

When JP and I moved out of our apartment a couple of weeks ago I wasn't really thinking about how I was packing and where I was putting all of my clothes because we had such a short amount of time to pack everything and move out.  Now I'm living with the consequence of searching through boxes daily. Planning outfits has been really difficult. I don't remember where I packed any of my jewellery, so I'm just forgetting about that until we find a new place. I'm really looking forward to having a closet again!! For now, I'll just have to live with wearing the same few things over and over and raiding my moms closet and Jewellery collection.
