Polka Dots & Straw Hats

Sunday Opheliac and I went shopping downtown. Sundays are perfect days to shop because it is so quiet downtown. We strolled through TD Square, which is going through major renovations right now. It's going to be so fantastic when it's finally done!!

There were so many great photos from Sunday with Opheliac that this is going to turn into a two-part post!!

To be continued.....

Pitches & Chips

My family went camping for the weekend so JP and I had the house to ourselves. We slept in, sipped coffee in the morning, beer in the afternoon, practiced some golf (only chipping), and relaxed outside in the sun. We also made a quick trip to Superstore to do a little shopping. I bought a scarf, a couple pairs of tights, and a few t-shirts for JP.

My friend Susan made the bracelet I'm wearing. I am in Love with all of her jewellery designs. Check out her style here, and her jewellery here!!

Bird Cages

I"m getting so excited for my wedding now! Things are starting to finally come together. I'm wedding dress shopping tonight and hopefully I will find my dress. I have a good feeling.

I am totally and completely obsessed with cage veils. I love how they change the entire look of the bride. They create more of a classic/vintage feeling, but somehow it also feels more modern.

Summer Nights

So, currently JP and I are crashing at my parents house until we find a new apartment.  I was so disappointed that we had to spend a long weekend packing, but at least I didn't have to miss any work. JP and I looked at a place that we adored today, so we are sending in the application forms but we won't be able to move in until September 1st. One month at my parents won't be too bad. It's kind of nice coming home to big family dinners and spending time with my little sister. I've been catching up on a lot of Hannah Montana and Wizards of Waverly Place. lol. And JP is enjoying having two video game buddies (I have two brothers as well).

These are some more photos from my friends wedding on July 26th. There was quite a break between the ceremony and the reception and I was absolutely starving, so JP and I stopped at a little Mexican place called Mucho Burrito.
Everything about the wedding was gorgeous, and the reception was no exception. The colours were black, white, and purple, and they went together perfectly.
The sunset on the drive home was so pretty and highlighted the Rocky Mountains, so we tried to get a couple of shots. I love the long summer days in Alberta.
