Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder | Dim Light

I took these photos way back when I first bought the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Dim Light. This is seriously one of my favourite beauty products and I will definitely repurchase it when I run out. Dim light is described as a finishing powder that has a neutral peach-beige colour with a perfect balance of warm and cool tones to blur imperfections. I think it's a really versatile powder and is just beautiful. If you follow me on Instagram then you know that I use this powder a lot because I have hit pan. I have noticed that if I use this powder with a dense brush then it doesn't look great, but if I dust it lightly all over my face with a large fluffy brush it creates a soft-focus effect that I love.

Lately Vol. 16

I realized I haven't done a lately post in a few months, so I thought I would write a little update. Things have been really busy around here and I haven't been posting on the blog as consistently as I was before the new year. These next few months of school and internship are amping up and I have been spending most of my spare time reading, studying, or writing. I'm really enjoying my counselling internship, but I am also looking forward to June when I graduate! To balance out the lack of blog posts I've been trying to post more often on my Instagram account. I've mostly been posting daily outfits and daily makeup. I have also been wanting to start up a YouTube channel and have a page set up but haven't been able to film a video yet. I have been thinking that I would do monthly favourites and attempt some "get ready with me" videos. Let me know what kinds of videos you'd like to see! 

So that's pretty much what's new with me! Please bear with me as I adjust to my new school schedule for the next couple months. I'm hoping to get back to a more regular and consistent posting schedule soon! In the mean time check out my photos on Instagram.

Blanket Scarves

Recently it seems that the obsession with blanket scarves has hit an all time high in the blogosphere. I have always had a love for scarves and have had this blog for a few years now, so I thought I would scroll through some of my old posts and share how I have worn a few blanket scarves over the years. Going through my outfit posts also made me realized that there are a couple scarves that I still really like but have been neglecting. As you can see the scarves that wear the most are my two Wilfred scarves. These two are ridiculously gigantic and so cozy.
