Sandstone and Beaches

JP and I spend the weekend at Writing on Stone. This time around my parents and little sister joined us. It was definitely a weekend filled with lots of relaxation in the hot sun, but there were also a few adventures. I have way more photos to share, but for now here is what I wore while skipping rocks on the river with my sister and JP.
I received this summer cardigan from Sugar Lips and immediately thought it would be perfect for the beach, or a nautical type look. The material is very light and breezy, which was perfect for the 30+ weather we were having. These sunglasses have a little story behind them. I accidentally sat on my sunglasses early on Saturday morning and broke them, so when JP and I took a trip into Milk River to grab some snacks, I went in search for a new pair. One of the few places that was open was a gas station, and that's where I found these sunglasses. Who knew you could find decent sunglasses at a random small town gas station!

JP's annual birthday camping trip was a couple weekends ago. There was such a good turn out, and we were so happy that so many of our friends could make it this year. Here are a few photos I snapped from the birthday weekend.

This weekend JP and I will be heading back to Writing On Stone. We had such a great time camping there last year that we could hardly wait to go back.

I have a couple outfit posts coming up, but lately I've just been so busy that I haven't had a chance to put the posts together. One is a simple outfit from a few weeks back a the Clothes Swap, and the other is from this past weekend at a friends engagement party.

Hope everyone is having an amazing summer so far!

Qtcase sent my sister and I these super adorable iPhone cases! We just love them. As soon as we had the cases on our iPhones (well, my iPhone and her iPod touch) we couldn't stop snapping photos of each other with our new cases. Not only are the cases cute and fun, but a portion of the proceeds  from purchasing a case go towards cancer research. If you want to find out more about Qtcase, check out their about section on their website here!

Every year my family goes camping for a weekend in Radium. It's always so nice to get out of the city and head out to the mountains for a couple days. Here are a couple snapshots from this years trip.
